Should I buy CoD: Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?
I need to be sure because I've heard that PS3 users are having problems on the PSN? Does the game look better on the PS3? Anyone know?
I played on both consoles (friends) and I can't detect any or maybe a very slight difference in graphics.
According to a post on the Twitter feed of Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling, the game is a victim of its own popularity.
"The amount of players on [Modern Warfare 2] PSN overwhelmed the PSN presence server which updates 'what you're doing' and is essential to parties," Bowling said.
In other posts, Bowling said more servers were being added to meet the demand for Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer mode. He also added that a patch addressing issues with unlocking the game's trophy awards in the single-player and Spec Ops modes had been successfully rolled out, with another patch fixing multiplayer party invites rolled out by Friday.
One of the most anticipated games of the year Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 brings a lot of new content, game play and fun. With its stunning graphics being the best of its kind it shows how beautiful a game can be. Still being a first person shooter that we all know and love this game has added a lot of new content such as new multiplayer items, perks, maps and a new mode called spec ops were you and your friend can play together using teamwork to get to the end of the level.
The campaign is amazing and the story itself is enough to make you buy the game. While playing the game you will start to actually get attached to the characters and feel the pain when one of them is dead. The campaign is a cinematic adventure worth playing. The theme, you will feel as if you are the character and all this is actually happening to you.
The theme of good vs evil is still there but with an added twist Not to give any spoilers away but there are a few surprises here and there. The game play is still the same, run, shoot and repeat but that's not necessarily a bad thing seeing as it has worked with all the other call of duty games in the past.
With the addition of a bunch of new guns, maps, and other things you'll have blast trying them all. The multiplayer, those of you who have Xbox live, Computer or PlayStation Network should try it out. Being full of a bunch of new add ones such as new guns, maps and perks this game adds on to the previous game.Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 can definitely be called a fantastic game no doubt about that!
The Campaign being a wonderful adventure full of twists and thrills is very entertaining. Spec ops the equivalent to campaign co-op will surely have you and your friends teamwork skills tested while having a lot of fun.
Multiplayer the icing on the cake being so packed full of guns, maps, perks and lot of fun this will have you spending hour after hour playing it over and over again. Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is an excellent game definitely a good buy. Full of fun, adventure, action and lots game is amazing I would rate it 9.5/10!
