Super Mario is the fictional main character in the popular Super Mario Brothers video game that was created by Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo. Mario Bros has become an international sensation and has been featured in more than 200 video games in various genres, such as sports games, role-playing, puzzle, fighting, and racing, although he is most popular in platform games.
Super Mario is shown as a short and plump plumber who is Italian-American and is a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom. This kingdom is ruled by a monarchy and Princess Peach is the heir to the throne. In the game Super Mario Brothers, Mario is joined by his brother Luigi and their goal is to save Princess Peach from the villain, Bowser. There are eight worlds with each world divided into four sub-levels. The fourth sub-level is always located in a castle where Mario or Luigi has to fight King Koopa, who turns out to be fake, until they reach the eighth world where they fight the genuine King Koopa.
Mario, which also became the mascot for Nintendo, is always shown wearing a red cap with the letter M in front. He has big eyes, a mustache, and a big oblong-shaped nose. He wears a red long-sleeves shirt, blue overalls, and white gloves. Therefore, Super Mario costumes are often composed of a red cap, mustache, gloves, long-sleeved red shirt, blue overalls, and boots.
The Super Mario costumes can be used by both adults and children during Halloween. You can make a Mario costume by simply getting some blue overalls and a red hat. If you are making a homemade costume do not forget to get the red cap, which is the most important part of the costume. You can create the red cap by getting a red ha and creating the "M" on the hat by hand. This would be done by cutting out a circle approximately the size that would fit on the front of the cap. The next step is to draw the letter M on the paper and then sew it on the cap. You can also find the long-sleeved red shirt and gloves in a local department store.
Of course all this takes time and may not look quite as good as a authentic costume. Authentic costumes can be purchased online and are usually complete with everything you need to become Super Mario.
