Most guitar players use a pick when they play. But you can also use your fingers.

Most (not all) of guitarists who use their fingers play what is called a "classical" guitar. A classical guitar has a neck a little wider, and uses nylon strings instead of steel strings. It is This guitar is called a "classic" because of its shape, its strings, and the type of music usually plays on the subject - classical music.

Classical though beautiful, is not the only music that plays on a classical guitar - You can play anything you want. The point is that this type of guitar is played with fingers.

You can also play acoustic guitar or electric standard with your fingers. Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac fame plays that way. Many guitarists learn two ways to play, and many actually use a combination of a pick and fingers together.

But if you are beginner, do not worry about things like that. Just decide how you want to go.

If you decide to go with either an acoustic or electric guitar standard, you want to use a pick.

As far as the type of selection to use the best type to use is one that is "light". Do not play with a plectrum thickness. Such peaks have no flexibility - Ie they do not move at all when you choose a chain or rope. This means they are more difficult to control. Do not put those who are too thin either. You will constantly cracking or breaking. Also a very thin resume makes her a really thin when you play.

Do not get peaks that are over-sized or very small either. They are also more difficult to control. Use regular size picks.

If you decide to play classical, acoustic or electric, have fun. You make music.

James Emery Vigh is an author of guitar method books for adults and children. His current project uses a combination of animation and live action to teach the guitar to kids. For more information, visit http://www.profbruno.com.

Rosetta Stone will not open (window opens then closes immediately) on Mac?

I'm on OS X. I have Rosetta Stone 3 and I can not update ha for other reasons. Anyway, I opened a million times before, so I do not know why, Whenever I try to open it now it does not stay open. The window appears, then closes immediately. But the program remains on. I can not get in each lesson? I restarted the computer but in vain. That still does not work. Someone else has this problem and may have a solution?

try removing preferences and cache for Rosetta.

Penguin is the latest Rock CD released by the prestigious group Fleetwood Mac and they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. IÂ'm confident Fleetwood Mac fans, and Rock fans alike will be delighted with this person.

This is an extremely rare day that I get a CD from a artist that I can honestly say not a bad track in the bunch. I am more than pleased to announce thata is exactly what I to say about it. There simply are not bad in the bunch. No fillers here at all, with each song stands on its staff.

One of the many refreshing things about this CD is the average of all participating artists seem to be really fun. Combine this with the overall youÂ've and got one of Fleetwood Mac releases of the most impressive ever.

IÂ'm believes that Penguin is certainly some of these groups best work in recent years. A CD quite enjoyable and a version in circulation. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because the ITA a collection that even the casual rock fan can appreciate and enjoy.

While this entire CD is really very good some my favorites are track 2 - Bright Fire, track 7 - Did You Ever Love Me, and track 9 - Caught In The Rain

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 1 - Remember me. Good stuff!

What do you think private lessons / sessions with a MAC artist?

I'll have my makeup done for $ 50, it will be a private appointment outside floor so it is not broken. This session is properly applied. This is not a special occasion, I just want help with a new look. For $ 100, it would demand and teach me how to do (I think she does one half of your face, you've finished the other half), but I not need all that. I especially like her to give me a look everyday with a little color around my eyes (something other than brown), I makeup very little and want something simple. I think I may know how to apply it after watching myself do it.

Hello, I have a makeover, after a certain time (for Clinical / Arden), but they do it for free And if I have questions, ask them if also a lesson. Why would you pay? Usually you end up buying a pair of products used during the session so that its allright. You mention that the appointment is private, but if you go to the floor in less time when she was saving, I'm sure it will work too. Overall, I think the idea good lesson but save 50 to buy a few things actually.
