I'll be without internet and so I am looking for something good PC games for a single player. I am running a laptop with the ability to play fairly minimal, so the latest generation of graphics-intensive games probably will not work. As a general rule, I'm not a big fan of shooters, but apart from that I'm open for suggestions. I generally prefer the strategy games (Civ 4, Warcraft, Starcraft, Age of Empires), but would love to find some new games. Any input would be great, thanks!
While a bit dated ... I am a fan of Fallout Tactics. It is a war game much like Warcraft, but you can set to turn based, and really get to the tactic. I finished a couple of times ... is a pig total time and great fun. Do a websearch for further examination and perhaps some screenshots to see if it could be your thing.
