Is Final Fantasy VII absolutely incredable, or just a cult classic?
I'm currently playing Final Fantasy VII (PC) at the moment, and I do love it, but I feel like I get the same emotional attachment to the other games as well. My guess is that it's so loved is because of the time it was released.
At the time of its release, it was an incredible game. The graphics, especially the GC, was ahead of its time. I don't think anyone expected the PSX to be capable of such graphics.
I think the game is a cult classic. By today's standards, the game isn't all that impressive.

Jan. 15 Friends and Neighbors
Ames Library Taste of India Saturday Local dietician and nutritionist Rama Sridhar will present a demonstration on Indian cuisine at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, in the Farwell T. Brown Auditorium at Ames Public Library, 515 Douglas Ave. Participants will be able to learn about the benefits of Indian food, see how Sridhar prepares various dishes, and sample some foods. The event is free.
