How many hours is the Crash Bandicoot (original) take to beat?
I'm comparing old games to current games for a paper. Any other playstation 1/dreamcast/64 games would be awesome to share.
It depends on how long you play it lol, it goes on for like 9 hours, but I bet you can beat it in one sitting if you have no plans. There are four islands, each with around 12 levels. Occasionally you might get stuck at a stupid jump, like me
lol.
Sounds like a cool paper mate... I'm a 90's kid, so all these PS1 games are my classic "Retro" style, like Crash, Spyro, Tomb Raider, Rayman and Tekken, that sorta thing lol....
Hope I helped!

Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex is the fourth game in the Crash Bandicoot series (or the sixth if you count Crash Bash and Crash Team Racing, which are both spin-offs and not platforming games). Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex was the first game of the series to be released on the PlayStation 2 in 2001, and was later released on the XBox and the Nintendo GameCube.
Despite this, it is actually the first game that wasn't made by the game's creators (Naughty Dog), and this was reflected in a few reviews, as they criticize the game for being unimaginative and poor in comparison to the rest of the series. The summed up only a small percentage of the reviews however, and most fans were glad to see Crash finally take to the next generation of consoles. The story once again revolves around you trying to foil Dr. Neo Cortex's plans for world domination - whatever they are this time round. Neo Cortex has a touch of the Dick Dastardly about him, and his schemes seem to get wackier and more far-fetched - not that this is a bad thing, and it's actually one of the game's main strengths that it is prepared to take a risk and be a bit zany.
A host of our favourite characters once again return in Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex, including Coco Bandicoot (Crash's sister and computer expert), Aku Aku (a floating wooded mask with feathers that instructs Crash on what to do). As well as the 'good' characters, there's also the welcome return of Tiny Tiger and Dingo Dile. Clearly the game's creators have a thing for alliteration!
