The Nintendo Wii will soon be releasing a few highly anticipated titles, adding them to an already great lineup of video games. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Metriod Prime 3 were recently released, receiving many compliments from critics and fans alike. Two other titles, Super Smash Brothers : Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy, have been highly awaited since the release of the Wii itself. Both titles are nearing their release date and are predicted to produce very high sales.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is the next installment in the wildly popular Zelda franchise. It follows the adventures of Link, along with a strange creature named Midna, as they try and protect Hyrule from the encroaching of the Twilight Realm. The game utilizes a stylized form of art more like Ocarina of Time, but still retains a bit of the cel-shaded look of Wind Waker. Twilight Princess features Link transforming into a wolf at times in the Twilight Realm, and combines these new elements of gameplay along with the new controller scheme of the Wii to provide in-depth interaction with the game, furthering the role-playing aspect of the game.

Metriod Prime 3 follows Samus yet again as she battles Space Pirates. However this time, she is being corrupted over time through her contact with Phazon, a powerful material she uses to increase her strength. Although the gameplay is fairly similar to Metroid Prime 2, the new controller scheme offered by the Wii in addition to some new gameplay elements catapult this title to the top of an already powerful franchise.

Many fans of Nintendo are now looking forward to the February release of Super Smash Brothers: Brawl. Set to include many well-known characters of the Nintendo universe as well as a few surprise outsiders, such as Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid. Also it adds support for online multiplayer over Nintendo Wi-Fi as well as a more in-depth single player campaign. Hardcore gamers and casual gamers alike can get into the party-style fun of Super Smash Brothers.

Also building on a well-established franchise, Super Mario Galaxy is set to go gold in the beginning of November. When people roll their eyes and reveal a hesitance to play Japanese role-playing games, they're probably referring to games like Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Insipid, uninspired and un-ambitious, these games - or 'grinds' in jaded parlance - attract the genre's faults and outdated contrivances like a lightning rod. The Last Hope is particularly offensive in that, despite its promising futuristic setting and Star Trek manifesto, it still manages to be all about swords, bows and pointy ears.

JRPG apologists will break out in a sweat trying to defend this one, as developer tri-Ace has seemingly gone out of its way to assemble one of the most grating, imbecilic and utterly unlikable casts ever. Within the ten hours it takes for the game's plot to get out of bed, you'll meet a teenage boy struggling with his confidence, a saccharine-spouting childhood friend (the universe's worst kind of cling-on), and a magical little girl.

The clichéd and deeply annoying band of heroes share a defining moment when, after crash landing on an ALIEN planet and slaughtering the ALIEN wildlife for an hour, they react in shock upon encountering ... an ALIEN. It doesn't help that the lack of expressive facial animation and abundance of awful voice acting turn every cut-scene into a surreal form of torture, like watching possessed, saucer-eyed marionettes reciting bad dialogue for hours on end.

The game's titular last hope seems to lie in its combat system, a real-time affair that takes a few pointers from third-person action games. In addition to using a variety of items and spells, each of the four active characters can be manually controlled (with the competent Al taking the reins of the remaining participants) and thrust headlong into battle with jumps, offensive combos and a particularly useful dodge-and-counter move. You'll have to frequently wrestle with an unwieldy camera here, but at least there's some excitement to be extracted.

Still, it's one diamond set within a tacky, bronze ring. The Last Hope is a lengthy engagement too, one where quests are intentionally designed to give you the literal run-around, and where every moment spent not fighting feels like a huge waste of time. Hang on to your time - and your money, too.

What is burning a card in Texas Hold em poker?

I was watching a how-to video on how to play texas hold em poker and the narrator said that the dealer burned a card. What does burning a card mean?

As the previous people explained burning a card is simply discarding the top card from the deck unseen prior to the flop, turn, and river rounds after bets have been placed.

Card burning was introduced to texas hold em as a way to prevent people from getting an unfair advantage before the flop, turn, and river cards are dealt. Mainly, it was to prevent cheating. If the cards of the deck were marked, the person or persons who marked the deck would know what the next card for the flop, turn, or river would be. Using this knowledge, they could determine how to play their hand before risking any chips. Discarding the top card eliminates this advantage. A player does not see the real "top" card until they have acted.

If the cards are marked, a player could gather some knowledge as to what card would definitely not be in play. But this is a very small advantage compared to knowing what card is going to be in play.

Though it's likely that we're going to have to wait a while for Cuba cigars to be legal in the US I think that once Cubans are legal there will be a huge surge of cigar smokers and cigar smoking. Much like the storm of online poker websites and poker players hit once Texas Hold'em became popular the cigar world will see the biggest cigar boom it has ever seen if Cuban cigars are legalized in the US.

There are also other economic factors that come into play when you're talking about legalizing the most coveted cigars on the planet. The economies of Honduras, The Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua will be severely affected once legal Cuban cigars are available to the masses. But, as I stated before, these economies will eventually come back to life stronger than ever once everyone realizes that Cuban cigars aren't really that much different than the cigars produced in the above mentioned countries. Not to mention that once Cuba has to produce cigars for Americans its production will be so overdone that the likelihood of the quality control diminishing is quite strong.

So, if you're crossing your fingers for 2010 to be the year that you're able to get all the Cuban cigars you want without having to sneak them in – keep dreaming! We've got a long way before stocking up on Cubans will be legal in the US!

Where is the shotgun in Tomb Raider Anniversary?

Ok, I really suck at this game. I just keep getting stuck. I cant even make it past the giant dinosaur. And I cant find any game cheats that are helping.

I keep finding shotgun shells, but I dont have a shotgun yet. Does anyone know where it is? Did I miss it?

You can actually get it before you encounter Larson and the T-Rex. When you go to get the cog that is across the wooden bridge, shoot out the bridge so that there is only a rope there. Jump onto the rope and slide down to the bottom of it. Look at the rock wall, there should be a small hole in the wall. Swing on the rope and aim for the small room. Once you're in the room, you'll find a large medipack and the shotgun.

You can kill the T-Rex with the pistols, that's all I use. To kill the T-Rex, get it's Anger Meter up and lure him to one of the three big white spikey things (there are two on the left and one on the right). Once the Adrenaline mode kicks it, do it and the rex will knock out the spikey thing. Get him to knock out all three of them and follow the interactive cutscene and you're done.

im about to get some drums for rock band and i was wondering if there is any ways of keeping my drums in a good condition. i tried google and i couldn't find anything. any advice will help.thx

1. The Rock Band pads are the most vulnerable thing. I recommened Some Xcell Pads to dappen the noise and to protect the pads. I do NOT reccomened the official silencers since mine wore out fast.

There are several different types of magic in the world of Runescape. Which branch of powerful spells a player uses depends on several things. Ancient Magicks can only be used by players who pay the monthly membership fee, and even then, they must complete the Desert Treasure quest. Players may only use one type of magick at a time.

Players gain access to the Ancient Magicks by praying inside the pyramid. Once they do so, they can use Ancient Magicks but not normal spells—they have to pray again to switch back. Praying drains away all of a player's prayer points. Note that the first time a player travels through the pyramid; they must go through the entire area. However, once they reach the altar, they'll gain the ability to use the shortcut to get directly to the altar from outside, saving a lot of time.

Types of Ancient Magicks

Ancient Magicks come in two types: teleport spells and damage spells. Spells can also be broken down by element. A few spells have restrictions on them. For example, Miasmic spells can only be cast by players who have Zuriel's Staff equipped.

» Blood spells heal the player and damage the enemy.
» Ice spells freeze and hurt the target.
» Shadow spells damage the target and lower their attack power.
» Smoke spells damage and poison the target.
» Miasmic spells damage the target and lowers its melee and ranged attack power.

There are also four different classes of spells:

Rush spells do high damage to a single target.
Blitz spells do very high damage to a single target.
Burst spells do high damage to enemies in a 3 x 3 area.
Barrage spells do very high damage to all enemies in a 3 x 3 area.

Ancient Magick Spells

Players can open their spell books to view all of the Ancient Magick spells that they know. These spells use more runes than normal spells, so players should be careful about using Ancient Magick over and over. These magicks do give experience like normal spells, plus players receive two magic experience for each point of damage they do with Ancient Magick spells.
Some of the Ancient Magick spells are listed below.
Home Teleport – teleports the player to Edgeville. No runes are required for this teleport spell, but players can only cast it once every 30 minutes.

Shadow Rush – lowers an enemy's attack by 10% plus does damage.
Ice Rush – Damages the enemy and freezes it for five seconds.
Smoke Burst – Poisons the enemy.
Blood Burst – Heals the player for 25% of the damage done to the enemy.
Miasmic Burst – Slows all ranged and melee attacks by half for 24 seconds.

The Ancient Staff

Players don't have to equip the ancient staff to use Ancient Magicks, but it certainly helps. It is the only item in the game that can auto cast Ancient Magicks, plus it provides a very nice +15 bonus to magic attacks. Players must first buy the ancient staff from Eblis for 80,000 gold pieces. Once they have purchased one, they can get another ancient staff by killing mummies in the ancients pyramid.

Ancient Magick Uses

One nice thing about all Burst and Barrage spells is that they can hit more than one enemy. This works very well in certain areas or while Player Killing on a team. They can also be a great way of training since you'll get experience for each target hit.

Ancient Magicks are perhaps the most useful when used while killing other players in Bounty Hunter and the mini-games.
